This Authentic Tse Lha Nam Sum Thangka presents the Long Life Trinity rising from a single, elegant lotus stem that stretches up through an expansive ocean landscape — its curling green leaves and stem visibly connecting Amitayus above to the water below, a striking compositional choice not seen in other versions of this grouping. Amitayus is shown in pale shoulder wraps rather than the more common green or blue robes, seated before a soft blue-green halo beneath a sky filled with drifting clouds and both sun and moon.

At the base, White Tara and Ushnishavijaya each sit within their own radiating fan-shaped halos, their multiple arms and attributes rendered with fine detail against the pale ocean waves that fill the lower half of the composition. This vast, water-dominated landscape — rolling waves stretching from edge to edge — gives the piece an unusually oceanic, expansive quality compared to the land-based settings seen in other Long Life Trinity paintings.

At a substantial 30x40 inches, this large-format thangka offers significant scale for appreciating the fine detailing across all three deities, making it a powerful statement piece for those undertaking longevity rituals and healing practices. Together, Amitayus's boundless life force, White Tara's compassionate healing, and Ushnishavijaya's purifying protection form a complete triad of blessings for a long, healthy, and meaningful life.
